This Fair Use Policy (“Policy”) governs use of subscription-based services offered by Vecteezy and is incorporated into, and forms part of, Vecteezy’s Terms of Service. The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that subscription usage remains consistent with its intended purpose: access to content for legitimate, project-based use, and not for bulk acquisition or archival storage.
“Stockpiling” is strictly prohibited and is defined as any activity in which a user downloads content without a bona fide, present intent to use such content in a specific project or reasonably imminent workflow. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
* Systematic or bulk downloading of assets for speculative, future, or undefined use
* Downloading content for the purpose of building or maintaining internal libraries, repositories, or archives
* Downloading content in quantities that exceed reasonable and customary creative or business needs
* Circumventing or attempting to circumvent download limits, including through the use of multiple accounts, automation tools, scripts, or other technical means
* Engaging in any behavior designed to maximize downloads irrespective of actual usage requirements
Subscriptions are licensed for reasonable, proportional, and project-driven usage only. All downloads must be directly tied to active projects, or clearly defined, near-term anticipated projects consistent with standard professional workflows.
Vecteezy subscriptions do not grant the right to:
* Acquire content in bulk for indefinite storage
* Create offline libraries for unrestricted future use
* Treat the service as a content warehousing or asset accumulation solution
Vecteezy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to monitor account activity for compliance with this Policy. Indicators of non-compliant behavior may include, without limitation:
* Abnormally high download volumes relative to typical usage patterns
* Rapid, repetitive, or programmatic download activity
* Download behavior inconsistent with identifiable project-based use
Vecteezy may utilize automated systems, internal review processes, and other detection mechanisms to identify violations.
In the event of a suspected or confirmed violation of this Policy, Vecteezy reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate, including without limitation:
1. Immediate suspension or restriction of download privileges
2. Temporary or permanent suspension or termination of the account
3. Revocation of licenses associated with improperly downloaded content
4. Denial of future access to subscription services
5. Pursuit of any additional remedies available under applicable law or contract
Note: Vecteezy is under no obligation to provide prior notice before taking enforcement action.
6. Enterprise and High-Volume Use
Customers with legitimate high-volume or enterprise-level needs must obtain prior written authorization from Vecteezy and may be required to enter into a separate agreement with customized terms, pricing, and usage allowances. Absent such authorization, high-volume download activity will be presumed to be in violation of this Policy.
7. No Waiver
Failure by Vecteezy to enforce any provision of this Policy in a particular instance shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce such provision or any other provision in the future.
8. Modifications
Vecteezy reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the most current version of this Policy.
